WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Teresa Leger Fernández and U.S. Senators Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Luján announced the U.S. Postal Service has opened two mobile units in Chimayo, New Mexico. Earlier this year, a fire destroyed the U.S. Post Office in Chimayó leaving residents without reliable mail services. Leger Fernández, Heinrich, and Luján, wrote to United States Postal Service (USPS) Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to restore postal service to the community of Chimayó.
